BoBo and Kal

we had a kids klub meeting this morning... the following are the good sketches i produced, after i stopped drawing on my hands, and began to draw on paper.
the first is BoBo (oh, this makes me thing of BoBo the clown, a psych experiment... dont get me started)
the pink and purple guy is Kal.

and the little sketch at the bottom, is just that, a sketch...

Cynthia

a quick less than 5 minute sketch produced this odd looking girl.

i was bored, and looking at a street art site, and got inspired. and i decided, instead of just ignoring that inspiration, i would actually do something about it.

and, she just looks like a Cynthia...

everytime i think of a Cynthia, i think of Cynthia Nixon (the actor who played one of the women in Sex and the City)

for me, butterflies are very symbolic.

when sally met harry, she decided she liked him. she flirted a bit with him. harry began to act differently. sally thought that he knew she had liked him and saw this as his way of saying he didnt like her back. sally took this as rejectment and she began to act differently too. she didnt like him any more.

the end can go a couple ways. but which is reality...?



is sally only overreacting?

i am fascinated by the female body, well, the contours anyway. her back leg looks a little off.

Image Issues

sometimes this is how i feel.

sometimes, i think, this is how all females feel. at one point in their life atleast.
yes, i am generalising. truthfully, i am jealous of those gorgeous girls, beauty on the inside and out.
and of those girls who dont seem to care.

that isnt me. i do care.

yes, i care less now than i did last year, when it was bad, but that same little niggleing voice haunts me, and i bet it will forever.
infact, sometimes im happy with how i look. but that contentment fluctuates often.

Lasheeta

her name is Lasheeta (yes, inspiration came from Laputa) and i drew her for a friend.


i drew her while procrastinating study the other day. i love her top, but her sword really sucks :P. oh, and i like her hair too.

oh well.

My Heart is a Trap

Yesterday was a confusing one, where guys are concerned.
It got to 11:30, writing a letter in bed and i knew i had to go do something.
<--- is the result.

I don't know why i always seem to be using blue recently. i need to remember there are other colours in the spectrum.

This is only concerning one guy, and... and i don't know what to do.





the image is from the butterfly foundation (an avant card), and they deal with women who have eating disorders.
the writing is my own (on really thick hand made paper).
there is a maths grid paper as the base.
the bible verse is one that i found earlier in the year after some other stuff. its from Ecclesiastes 7:26.
easter egg wrappers, a paint chip card, and the other two images are cut up from a teddy bear magazine thing.

Thinking Sketch1

there are times when, in order to think, i have to draw. i have to be doing something with my hands to free up my mind. the results arent fantastic works of art, but rather smudgy sketches of random things, patterns, and words.

last night was one of those times. i had had a wonderful night alone watching a movie with my cat, and i was tired and happy.

this is what came out...
