Day Two - The City

(Edit: you couldn't see half of the photos, hopefully this will have resolved that issue, though the photos are all out of order now)


on the saturday, we caught the double-decker train into the city, via the Bridge.
we walked around (admittedly getting very lost, as Sydney's CBD is very very different from Melbourne's). We explored Hyde Park, the War memorial, walked down to Circular Quay, to the Opera House, then caught a ferry to Manly, came back, and walked around the Botanic Gardens for the rest of the day. we saw a grand total of 6 or 7 weddings while in the gardens! also, lots of fruit bats.
we got home in time for beer and dinner. a very nice day (even though i got very sun burnt)
