Day One - Friday

On Friday Steve and I explored the gully out the back of his grandparents house (most of northern Sydney has these gullies running through it. very rocky, impossible to build on, but very beautiful).
However, one thing that I didn't like, were all these spiders. everywhere. literally! they had very big, sticky webs, and the spiders were quite large.

in the afternoon we went north of Sydney for a bit to the Hawksbury River and had a bit of an explore.

(we also went through Bonnie Doon on both the way up, and the way back from Sydney. Classic movie that is...)
